Fizz Mobile Taps Etiya’s AI Tech to Power National Expansion

Quebecor’s Fizz Mobile is scaling up its presence across Canada with the help of Etiya, a global provider of AI-powered telecom solutions.
Fizz is known for its low-cost, fully digital mobile (LTE data only), internet, and TV services.
While Fizz is already available beyond Quebec, the provider is now focusing on growing its footprint in key markets like Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. To support this expansion, Etiya has renewed and expanded its partnership with Fizz, supplying its cloud-native Business Support System (BSS) platform to deliver fast, flexible, and personalized customer experiences.
The Istanbul-based tech firm is powering Fizz’s digital backbone with a full SaaS-based system that features an AI-powered support agent for real-time assistance, advanced campaign automation tools to deliver personalized offers, and scalable infrastructure that enables efficient rollout and management of mobile, internet, and TV services.
“Fizz’s momentum is powered by simplicity, flexibility, and innovation. Etiya’s digital-first approach helps us personalize faster, scale smarter, and offer seamless customer journeys nationwide. It is our intention for Fizz’s success to serve as Etiya’s calling card around the world, showcasing what their technology can achieve,” said Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor, Fizz’s parent company, in a statement to iPhone in Canada on Tuesday.
Etiya’s tech will enable Fizz to adapt to new business models as it grows, while also serving as a potential launchpad for international deployments.
“Our collaboration with Fizz underlines our commitment to delivering scalable, AI-powered solutions that enable telecom operators to offer flexible, personalized services at speed. We’re proud to be part of Fizz’s growth journey across Canada and to have created a platform that can be readily deployed in other international markets,” said Aslan Dogan, CEO at Etiya.
Fizz recently doled out 50GB in free data for customers, and recently we saw Rogers and Fido offer a similar freebie. Fizz offers rollover data and the ability to gift data to friends and family as well, features unavailable at brands from the ‘Big 3’.
