Telus is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a new sale, offering deals on phones and devices, internet and TV. There’s also a 25GB of bonus data on select 5G+ plans.
As for a brief history of Telus? Vancouver-based Telus was formed in 1990 by the Alberta government to privatize the Alberta Government Telephones (AGT) and later merged with BC Tel in 1999 to become a national telecom provider. This is where Telus relocated its headquarters to Burnaby, BC, the former offices of BC Tel. But Telus now has its main headquarters at the Telus Garden building now in downtown Vancouver (since 2015). #themoreyouknow
