Samsung’s Galaxy Phones May Soon Feature Perplexity AI

Samsung is in advanced discussions with Perplexity AI to integrate its advanced artificial intelligence features into its Galaxy smartphone lineup, potentially moving away from reliance on Google’s Gemini, Bloomberg is reporting.

Perplexity AI, founded in 2022, has quickly gained attention for its innovative “answer engine” that combines real-time search capabilities with AI-driven responses. Utilizing technologies from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, Perplexity offers users concise, cited answers to queries, distinguishing itself from traditional search engines.

The proposed deal with Samsung would involve preloading Perplexity’s app and AI assistant onto future Galaxy smartphones, including flagship models.
