PlayStation State of Play Returns June 4 with New PS5 Game Reveals

Playstation state of play.

Sony is bringing back its State of Play livestream on Tuesday, June 4, promising fresh updates and announcements for upcoming PlayStation 5 titles. The broadcast will go live at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST on YouTube and Twitch.

The 40-minute event will showcase a selection of games from developers around the world, with a focus on must-play PS5 titles coming later this year. Viewers can expect a mix of first-party and third-party updates.

State of Play, first introduced in 2019, is Sony’s regular platform for digital game announcements—similar to Nintendo Direct. It often features gameplay trailers, release dates, and surprise reveals. Every PlayStation fan loves tuning into these to see what’s coming next.

Tomorrow’s show will be presented in English and available for replay after the stream. The last Sony State of Play was on April 30, featuring a 20-minute deep dive into Borderlands 4.
