Apple is rolling out a wave of updates to its services this fall, and Canadians are set to benefit from several key additions—including support from Air Canada.

As part of its refreshed Apple Wallet experience announced at WWDC, Apple is introducing a redesigned digital boarding pass with live flight updates, indoor airport maps, baggage tracking, and more. Air Canada is one of the first airlines to support the feature, alongside Delta, United, JetBlue, and others.

As you can see from Apple’s screenshot below, the new boarding pass has one-tap shortcuts to sharing your flight tracker, launching Maps for directions to your terminal, plus a shortcut to Find My to track your luggage:

The Wallet upgrade will allow iPhone users to track flights in real time using Live Activities, and share updates with friends and family. Travelers will also be able to navigate terminals through Apple Maps, view airline services like seat upgrades, and access Find My to locate luggage—right from the boarding pass.

This Live Activities widget will also be available in the next version of CarPlay. So if someone shares their flight updates with you, it will be trackable in real-time from the car.

Canadians also get access to Apple Pay installments through Klarna, a new option that will let users split in-store purchases into smaller payments, similar to buy now, pay later (BNPL) services available in the U.S. and U.K.

In Apple News+, Canadian users who read in English will also get the new Emoji Game—a daily puzzle joining Apple’s growing set of interactive content, including crosswords and Sudoku.

These updates arrive with the launch of iOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and other software versions this fall.
