Pixel 10 Event Confirmed for August—Google Jumps Ahead of iPhone 17

Google has sent out invites to the media for its Made by Google event, set for August 20, 2025.

The invite says the in-person event will “introduce the latest additions to our Pixel portfolio of devices,” with the keynote set for 10am PDT/1pm EDT.

So far, based on early leaks, we are expected to see the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold unveiled by Google, likely powered by its next-gen Tensor G5 chip, this time made by TSMC (versus Samsung for the Tensor G4). Designs are expected to be the same as last year. We will likely see upgrades to the Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds as well.

Last year’s Made by Google event took place on August 13 and this year’s event is one week later. The shift in schedule also usurps Apple’s expected iPhone 17 series reveal in September, again (which are seemingly taking design cues from the Pixel lineup).

Users can expect an even further integration of Google’s Gemini AI into these Pixel smartphones and devices, all powered by Android 16.
