Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon Legends Bundle Hits Canada in October

Nintendo is releasing a new Switch 2 bundle this fall, and it includes the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A game. The bundle launches October 16 in Canada and will sell for $699.99 CAD.
Buyers will get the Nintendo Switch 2 system and a digital copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Pre-orders are already open through the My Nintendo Store and select Canadian retailers. Considering the game is $99.96, having it included is a nice bonus especially when the console costs $700.
This release lines up with the launch of the game itself, giving Pokémon fans a chance to upgrade to the latest Nintendo console with the newest entry in the franchise.
The Nintendo Switch 2 launched in Canada on June 5, 2025, priced at $629.99 CAD for the standalone model and $699.99 CAD for the Mario Kart World bundle, featuring a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen, magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers, and 4K output when docked. A celebratory midnight launch event was held at EB Games in Toronto, with trivia, giveaways, and limited stock available at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, while pre-orders began on April 24 after a delay due to U.S. tariff alignment.
