Samsung Redesigning Mobile Cloud Gaming Hub, Expands to Europe

Samsung has announced its plans to redesign and expand its mobile cloud gaming platform. The latest move is designed to innovate how players can discover new games to play while also bringing the platform to the UK and Germany.

In a recent Samsung Newsroom post, the company revealed that later this year, the Mobile Gaming Hub will be undergoing a redesign. “Later this year, players can expect more ways to discover games across every genre, along with new innovations that make the Mobile Gaming Hub more intuitive, connected, and social than ever before,” the company states.

Unfortunately, it’s not very clear what Samsung will be doing to its Mobile Gaming Hub this year. However, Samsung goes on to clarify that it will continue to leverage “cloud-first” features that allow players to jump into a catalogue of games instantly. Samsung notes that it’ll incorporate “smarter discovery tools” to assist game developers to “reach new audiences, boost engagement, and improve retention.”

Samsung’s aim is to make its hub a more “unified destination” for all of the player’s mobile gaming needs. This includes playing favourite games from the catalogue of titles, watching gameplay videos, and engaging with in-game communities.

With new tools being integrated to assist with discovery, Samsung is bringing its mobile cloud gaming to the UK and Germany. In a phased release, new audiences will be able to access a growing catalogue of games on their smartphones and other devices.

Samsung also notes its partnership with Moloco, an AI performance advertising company. According to the company, advertisers saw a “better 30-day return on ad spend (ROAS) over the course of a six-month campaign” through Moloco Ads. Samsung claims that app publishers will see market growth and greater monetization through its AI-powered solutions.
