Telus Expands Global 5G Roaming Plan to Everyone Across Canada

Back in July, Telus launched a global roaming plan for its Employee Purchase Program (EPP), a move that seemingly followed in the footsteps of Rogers’ own international roaming plan. Bell has a similar global roaming plan but only in Quebec.

This week, Telus made its global roaming plan available for everyone, not just those that have access to EPP through their work.

The new 5G+ Complete Explore plan costs $95/month and has 250GB of data, available to use in 68 roaming destinations below:

  • US Destinations: The U.S. (including areas of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands).
  • Mexico/Caribbean: Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks & Caicos.
  • Central & South America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru.
  • Europe: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom.
  • Asia & Middle East: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam.
  • Oceania: Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand.

As of August 29, 2025, here are bring your own device plans from Telus, that include its 5-year rate plan price lock and after $10 debit autopay discount (outside of Quebec):

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $95/250GB International (68 destinations)

The global plan doesn’t include as many destinations as the Telus Easy Roam add-on, which is from $5/day and includes over 200 international destinations.

Here are plans from Rogers and Bell as of today, for comparisons’ sake…

Rogers

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $100/250GB Canada-US-Mexico

Bell

  • $70/100GB
  • $80/175GB Canada-US
  • $95/250GB Canada-US-Mexico (was $100 last month)

As you can see, Telus has Rogers and Bell beat when it comes to the most expensive 5G plan, as their $95 plan includes global roaming data to 68 locations. Expect Rogers and Bell to match Telus as we enter the hotly contested fall and holiday period.
