Update September 15, 10:11am PT: iOS 26 is now available for download. Click here to read how to install it on iPhone.
Apple’s long-awaited iOS 26 update is rolling out globally today. Following an extensive beta period, general users will be able to try out the Liquid Glass UI and redesigned layouts.
iOS 26 is a major refresh to Apple’s OS. Revealed at WWDC 2025, the software comes with a drastic new coat of paint across notifications, apps, and more. The software also includes new features for first-party apps. iOS 26 is also arriving days before the launch of iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Historically, Apple’s software updates become available around 1 PM ET/10 AM PT. It’s currently being suggested that iOS 26 will roll out around the same time today, on September 15th. If this is the case, here’s when you can expect to be able to install the iOS 26 update:

There may be a slower rollout of the software depending on the number of users attempting to update their devices. However,
