Bell to Raise Price of A la Carte TV Add-Ons in November
Bell has started notifying customers of an upcoming price increase to TV services, specifically A la carte TV add-ons.
An iPhone in Canada reader sent us a copy of their monthly Bell statement, which details the price increase. The text explains that as of November 1, 2025, the monthly rate of A la carte TV add-ons will increase by $3.50 each.
Bell says if customers have any questions, would like to cancel or modify your services, please call them at 1-866-310-BELL (2355).
This reader has two Bell mobility lines, internet and TV with the company. They are paying $68 per month for TV which includes an existing $33 A la Carte charge (10 channels), $22 Fibe TV starter price, $20 for a 4K Whole Home PVR and a $3 Digital Service Fee, minus a $10 programming discount. The price increase will be $35 to this customer’s bill.
This existing Bell customer tells us they will be calling in and likely cancelling their TV service with Bell, and expects to jump through the hoops through the loyalty department which will try to keep them. The reason for cancelling will be, “I’m a pensioner!”, said this reader.
Right now, these a la carte channels start at $4/month and go up to $7/month, or you get 10 channels for $36.50/month. The price increase is essentially 88% on $4 channels and 50% on $7 channels. The price increases will add up if you have a lot of a la carte channels set up.
You may want to check your Bell TV statement to see if your a la carte TV add-ons are increasing this fall as well.

Cable TV has been a racket for a very long time. With so many different options available, I could never go back to it.
Harder to do when my mom who like her Portuguese shows and channels and doesn’t really know how to get them to play on her iPad mini
Not going to pay over 100$ a month just to be able to select the only 3 channels I watch.
