OnePlus has announced its latest flagship, the OnePlus 15, which the company calls its “ultimate performance” device. This is the successor to the OnePlus 13, but jumping straight to 15.
It is one of the first smartphones in the world to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, billed as the world’s fastest mobile system-on-a-chip.
“For more than a decade, OnePlus and Qualcomm Technologies have moved in lock-step to redefine what a flagship can be,” said Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 at its core, OnePlus 15 carries that legacy forward—delivering the speed, intelligence and efficiency our users demand today and into the future.”

The OnePlus 15 will also debut the company’s new DetailMax image engine (unveiled earlier this month), designed to use advanced algorithms and processing power for clearer, more realistic photos.
Backed by OxygenOS, OnePlus says the phone is tailored for gaming with lightning-fast performance, adaptive software, and a cooling system meant to keep things running smoothly under heavy load. The company claims this will deliver “seamless gameplay across a range of popular titles.”
