Bell Media’s Crave’s Standard With Ads subscription is now available directly through Amazon Prime Video in Canada for $11.99 per month. Customers can sign up via primevideo.com and manage their subscription through their Prime Video account.
The Standard with Ads plan is $14.99/month on Crave.ca, but it’s $3/month cheaper through Prime Video versus the Crave website. You get four streams at one time and up to 4K video quality. Previously, only Crave Premium was available on Prime Video.
“Amazon is a valued and important partner of Bell Media. The introduction of additional Crave plans on Prime Video offers more choice and value, while giving advertisers powerful opportunities to reach Crave’s highly engaged audiences,” said Kevin Cluett, SVP, Distribution, Out of Home & Direct to Consumer, Bell Media, in a statement on Wednesday.
The move adds another way for Canadians to access Crave’s lineup, which includes HBO and Max Originals like The White Lotus, The Last of Us, and House of the Dragon, along with the DC universe, the Harry Potter films, and long-running TV favourites such as Friends and The Office. The service also carries Canadian productions like Canada’s Drag Race and Shoresy, plus over 11,000 hours of French-language programming.
Crave’s Standard With Ads tier joins the existing subscription options available, including Basic with Ads at $9.99/month and Premium at $22/month.
Bell Media also has a Crave + TSN/RDS bundle on Prime Video available for $32.99 per month.
