OnePlus 15 Canadian Launch Set for November 13—Here’s What to Expect

OnePlus has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, will officially launch on November 13, with availability in both Canada and the U.S.
The OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making it one of the first smartphones to use the chip. It pairs with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM, promising faster multitasking and improved overall performance.
Running OxygenOS 16, the phone introduces new AI-powered features with deeper integration of Google Gemini, including tools for intelligent language support and a personal assistant system called “Plus Mind.”
“We’re excited to bring the OnePlus 15 to Canada as one of the first smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5,” a OnePlus spokesperson told iPhone in Canada in a statement. “This launch continues our focus on speed, AI innovation, and imaging excellence.”
For photography, the OnePlus 15 debuts the DetailMax Engine, a new imaging system designed to deliver sharper, more natural photos. Its Ultra-Clear 26MP mode combines multiple frames for improved texture detail, while Clear Burst captures 10 frames per second to reduce motion blur. The Clear Night Engine enhances low-light photos using Dual Analog Gain technology for brighter, cleaner shots.
The phone will come in three finishes — Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet. Infinite Black uses frosted glass for a matte, smudge-resistant look, Sand Storm features a fiberglass back with a ceramic-grade coating tougher than titanium, and Ultra Violet shifts from violet to sapphire depending on the light.
Full specifications, pricing, and Canadian preorder details will be announced during the OnePlus 15 launch livestream on November 13. Stay tuned, folks.
