OnePlus Gaming Technology Launches on OnePlus 15

The OnePlus Gaming Technology architecture has been announced to launch with the upcoming OnePlus 15 series. OnePlus reveals that the new technology will pave the way for mobile gaming on its platform.
Built on a self-developed OP Gaming Core, OnePlus Gaming Technology is described as an “industry-first chip solution designed specifically for gaming.” The OP Gaming Core includes the OnePlus CPU Scheduler, which has been designed to decrease CPU load and power consumption, which should impact gaming and offer longer play sessions. OnePlus claims that its OP Gaming Core can achieve up to 22.74 percent power reduction for key tasks.
The next-generation HyperRendering technology is also working alongside the OnePlus CPU Scheduler to drive up to 80 percent improvement in per-frame rendering efficiency. OnePlus’ HyperRendering can maximize the GPU model within the SoC to integrate native rendering and frame interpolation process straight onto the main chipset. With these two technologies, the OnePlus 15 can provide high framerates and fidelity while playing games.
OnePlus also reveals the OP Performance Tri-Chip setup, which offers a Performance Chip, a Touch Response Chip, and a Wi-Fi Chip G2. As these work together, OnePlus is able to elevate the processing power, touch response and wireless connectivity to the OnePlus 15 smartphone. Its Touch Response Chip supports up to 330Hz sampling rate. The Wi-Fi Chip G2, on the other hand, offers SmartLink technology to help stabilize connections, even when signals are weaker.
Finally, the OP FPS Max gaming solution has also been revealed. OnePlus states this technology has been in development for three years. OP FPS Max supports a customized 165Hz display, which is capable of offering native 165fps support. Paired with the OP Gaming Core, the OnePlus 15 features chip-level optimization to provide smooth gameplay experiences. Across many already popular titles, OnePlus states that it will continue expanding game support to make more titles 165fps-ready.
The OnePlus 15 launches in Canada on November 13th. It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM. The OnePlus 15 also supports Oxygen 16, with Google Gemini integrations.
