Prime Video is bringing back Beast Games, the competition series from Jimmy Donaldson— also known as MrBeast (you know, the guy with the world’s most YouTube subscribers).

Season 2 is set to premiere on January 7, 2026. The first three episodes will land that day, followed by weekly releases until the finale on February 25.

The new season will again centre around “Beast City,” the show’s massive custom-built arena, in Toronto (near Downsview Airport). Prime Video says viewers can expect tougher challenges and a storyline that pits physical strength against problem-solving as contestants work their way through the season.

Season 1 became Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted series, hitting 50 million viewers in its first 25 days. The show has already been renewed for a third season.

MrBeast returns as host, with the original producing team back on board. Beast Games will stream in more than 240 countries and territories when it launches in January.

Donaldson previously revealed that the show’s massive “Beast City” set cost about $14 million US to build, describing it as a full city constructed in a field for contestants to compete and live in during filming. The overall production budget for Beast Games Season 1 topped $100 million US, making it one of the most expensive reality competitions ever produced.
