Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo Are Shuffling Plans Ahead of Boxing Week
Earlier this month we shared the plans from Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo after emerged after Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, to keep tabs on them ahead of any Boxing Day (Week) changes.
Now, we’re starting to see Fido, Virgin Plus and Koodo set the stage ahead of upcoming deals, as plans are are now changing. Check out what’s new below after autopay discounts:
Fido (10GB bonus and $0 hotspot promos)
- $40/50GB (was $45/10GB)
- $45/20GB (was 10GB)
- $45/70GB (was $50/40GB)
Fido says you’re getting $15 off with the 50GB and 70GB plans, and $5 off with the 20GB plan. Gone is the $55/60GB plan.
Virgin Plus
- $40/50GB (was $45/10GB)
- $45/60GB (was $50/50GB)
Gone is the $55/60GB plan.
Koodo
- $40/50GB (was $45/10GB)
- $45/70GB (was $50/40GB)
- $75/100GB
Gone is the $55/60GB plan. Sounds like we’re repeating ourselves here…
The bottom line? Entry prices have dropped back down to $40 per month, while Koodo continues to be the only one with a 100GB plan. We wouldn’t be surprised if Koodo brings back its Canada-US-Mexico plan for Boxing Week. Stay tuned…

Virgin has $40 for 60GB with Can / US / Mexico for new customers on a bring your own device plan. In Ontario at least. Not sure about other provinces.
