Fizz Drops a Game-Changer: Try Their Network Free for 15 Days

Fizz is rolling out a brand-new program designed for anyone who wants to try a mobile provider without any pressure: a free trial. Instead of committing first and hoping everything works out, Fizz says new members can now try their network and features before deciding to switch.

With this new free trial available in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario, you get 3GB of data, 100 texts, and 100 minutes of Canada-wide talk time for 15 days—completely free. No tricks, no hidden charges, and no “we hope you forget to cancel” fine print. If you’re not happy after your test period, you simply walk away. If you like what you see, switching to Fizz is just as easy.

The trial works on eSIM, so you’ll need an eSIM-compatible phone. Fizz gives you a temporary number during the test, while your current provider and number stay untouched. At the end of the trial, you decide whether to transfer your actual number over or keep things as they are.

And because this is a permanent program—not a one-time promo—you can try Fizz whenever you’re ready.

Why Fizz Stands Out

Real Savings That Add Up

Fizz has built its reputation on being affordable without cutting corners. In a time when everything seems to cost more, its flexible prepaid model helps Canadians manage their budgets while still getting the quality they expect.

A Strong Referral Program

Fizz’s referral bonus is one of its biggest perks. In Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, and Ontario, both you and the friend you refer earn a $40 credit. You can refer as many people as you want, making it easy to bring your monthly bill down again and again.

Data You Keep (For a While)

Unused data rolls over to the next month, giving you extra time to use what you paid for. If you end up with more than you need, you can also gift data to other Fizz members, something most carriers don’t offer.

Rewards That Start Immediately

Fizz’s Rewards Program begins on day one. Members earn free data, discounts, and perks just for staying with the service.

No Mobile Plan Price Increases

Once you choose a mobile plan, your monthly price stays put unless you change your plan. There are no activation fees, surprise roaming charges, or overages. Everything is managed online—no phone calls, no waiting on hold.

Flexible Plans You Control

Customize your plan anytime through your account. Whether you want more data, fewer minutes, or need to adjust your coverage, you can make changes instantly.

How to Get Started With Fizz’s Free Trial

  • Go to the Fizz website and choose the free trial option.
  • Check that your phone supports eSIM.
  • Activate your temporary eSIM and receive your temporary number.
  • Use your 3 GB, 100 texts, and 100 minutes for 15 days on Fizz’s network available in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.
  • Decide if you want to move your real number to Fizz—or simply continue with your current provider.

Fizz’s new free trial makes it easy for anyone to explore a more affordable, flexible mobile service at zero risk. You get to test the network, compare speeds, and try the features firsthand—all before deciding whether to switch.

If you’ve been thinking about lowering your mobile bill or ditching hidden fees, this is one of the simplest ways to find out if Fizz is the right fit.

Canadian operators are ridiculous. 🙂

In Europe, they simply call these “prepaid” 🙂 And you can buy such a SIM card for just a few euros in any supermarket or small shop.

Simply pointing your phone at a QR code to try out a cell service has nothing to do with buying a prepaid in a store.

Fizz is not doing anything totally new in the grand scheme of things of things, but please…
