KeySmart has expanded its tracking lineup with the official release of the SmartCard Ghost (Gen 3), a clear version of its ultra-slim wallet tracker. While the black model debuted last month, the new clear “Ghost” edition is available starting today for $56 US (approximately $76 CAD).
The Gen 3 card is designed to bridge the gap for households that use both iPhone and Android devices. It features a unique Dual-Network Architecture, allowing it to pair with either the Apple Find My network or Google’s Find Hub.
The SmartCard Ghost is built on the new Atlas Gen 3 Chipset that computes location data twice as fast as previous generations. KeySmart claims this new hardware connects 30% more reliably than standard trackers, ensuring location updates are both instant and accurate.
Despite the hardware upgrades, the card maintains a slim profile of just 1.8mm thick, which is roughly the size of two credit cards. This allows the tracker to disappear into a wallet slot and is far less bulkier than an AirTag.
What’s really cool is the “Ghost” features a rechargeable design that gives 11 months of battery life on a single charge. When the power runs low, the card can be placed on any standard Qi wireless charging pad. An integrated LED status light lets you know when the device is charging or fully powered.
The SmartCard is also rated IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can withstand full submersion and the typical wear of daily environmental exposure. KeySmart includes a two-year warranty with the device, which is designed for a lifespan of over 10 years. The SmartCard Ghost should hit Amazon.ca soon.
