Bell continues to tweak its wireless plans page and it has made some changes today, offering a cheaper entry plan.
Here are the Bell plans as of April 14, 2026:
New is the “Lite” plan that is $55 with 80GB. Earlier this month you could get 100GB for $55, so that’s less data. But a 100GB offering remains at $60, which is a $5 increase from before.
Also, the $65/175GB plan now includes Mexico when it was only Canada-US back on April 3. The $85 global plan remains, and likely will stick around this price due to Freedom Mobile’s aggressive global plans.
It’s probably the worst time to get a new cellphone plan right now (compared to Black Friday), as there are no active promos, so you’re best to hold off and wait for the next big ‘sale’.

Who in their right mind signs up for $55 80gb plan when the same can be had for less than half if you have an ounce of ambition?
Individuals or families that want more than 1 mobile plan, high speed fiber and Crave/Disney+/Netflix or CTV or TSN or all of it combined…. the bundled discounts are way more affordable and easier to manage than separately piecing them together from different sources. If you’re just looking for a mobile plan on its own or have limited broadband needs at home it makes sense but ambition has little to do with it.
Why if I try to get into my account, it says I don’t give you the correct email address. So if I want to contact anyone, how do I do that. And I am saying this as a joke NO AS AN INSULT to no one. But I know what and how to write email is. And they do remember when they send me the bill.
