Koodo Brings Back 60GB Data Bonus for $40 Plan to Rival Fido and Virgin Plus

It looks like Telus-owned Koodo just can’t make up its mind, as it has once again tweaked the data for its entry $40 plan.

Here are the Koodo plans as of April 15, 2026, for bring you own device and after debit autopay discounts:

  • $40/60GB (was 20GB)
  • $50/80GB Canada-US-Mexico
  • $55/100GB

Koodo has a “promotion” label on all three of the plans above, but if you’ve been following closely, you know these plans have been better in the past, such as when the company offered 25% off flash sales.

As you can see, the $40 plan now has 60GB of data, up from 20GB. At the beginning of April, the $40 plan had 20GB of data, whereas in March, it had 60GB. So it looks like Koodo is going around in circles here. But this move matches Virgin Plus and aligns with Fido in offering a 60GB plan.

Rival Fido right now has a $39/20GB plan and its 60GB plan costs $44, while its Canada-US-Mexico plan is at $49/60GB.

Virgin Plus only has a $40/60GB and $49/80GB Canada-US-Mexico plan right now.

Shoppers need to check all wireless carriers to see what they can get for $40 per month right now. Freedom has a $40 plan with 100GB and includes 5GB of monthly global roaming data.
