Telus Just Lowered Wireless Prices by $5 to $10: What’s New
Telus has tweaked its wireless plans on Wednesday, lowering prices on couple of 5G+ plans.
Here is the Telus 5G+ plan lineup for bring your own device and after autopay, as of April 15, 2026:
- $50/80GB 5G
- $60/100GB (was $65)
- $65/175GB (was $75) Canada-US
- $85/250GB Global (68 destinations)
- $95 unlimited data Canada
So what changed? The 100GB plan has dropped by $5 down to $60 per month. The 175GB Canada-US talk, text and data plan is now $65, down by $10 per month. The $85 global plan and $95 unlimited data plan (Canada only) has remained the same.
Yesterday, we told you Bell added a $55/80GB plan to its lineup, which is $5 more expensive than the Telus 80GB 5G plan above.
As for Rogers, its plans essentially match Telus above, except its 80GB 5G+ Lite plan is priced at $55 like Bell.
These flagship carrier prices are still more expensive than other offerings from the likes of Freedom Mobile, as their plans all include global data roaming. Freedom has a $40/100GB plan with 5GB of monthly global roaming to 120 destinations right now, for example.
