iPhone 18 Pro Could Arrive With Four Colour Options, Including Dark Cherry

A new report indicates that this year’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could arrive in four different colour options. It’s claimed that the Pro-level series will be available in ‘Light Blue’, ‘Dark Cherry’, ‘Silver’, and ‘Dark Gray’.
According to Macworld, a “source familiar with Apple’s supply chain” has provided some insight into the colourway options we might expect. As noted, the four colour options we should currently expect are Light Blue (Pantone 2121), Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076), Silver (Pantone 427C), and Dark Gray (Pantone 426C).
If the latest is indeed correct, it’s likely that Dark Cherry will be the flagship colour option prominently featured across promotional materials. From the sounds of it, which Macworld reports, the colour is described as deep wine-like red.” So, Apple might be moving away from the bright, loud Cosmic Orange featured on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman noted that Apple is testing a “deep red” finish across iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It would appear as though this Dark Cherry option might have been the deep red colour Gurman reported on. Even this week, Weibo-based leaker Digital Chat Station reported on the “deep red” option.
There have been quite a lot of rumours circulating about the colours offered across the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Weeks ago, it was reported that Apple would not release a black model of the device. At the time, leaker Instant Digital noted that the colour had been cut.
The amount of chatter in recent weeks has drawn a very compelling case that Apple will release the Dark Cherry colour option for its upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Though there’s still no confirmation on it, alongside the other three options reported by Macworld.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be announced in September. Apple is also reportedly announcing its first foldable iPhone this fall.
