Virgin Plus Shakes Up Plan Prices and Slashes Data as Promos End
Bell’s flanker brand Virgin Plus has revamped most of its wireless plans, increasing the price on one plan while lowering the price of its entry plan, but also slashing its data amount.
Here are Virgin Plus plans after bring your own device and autopay discounts as of April 21, 2026:
- $39/20GB (was $40/60GB)
- $44/60GB (was $40)
- $49/80GB Canada-US-Mexico
As you can see, the entry plan is now $1 cheaper, but it lost 40GB of data. The $44 plan used to be $40, so it saw a price increase of $4 per month.
Now, Fido made some changes today and what we’re seeing from Virgin Plus matches for the $44/60GB plan. But Virgin Plus has the edge here as its $49 Canada-US-Mexico plan has 80GB, instead of 20GB like Fido.
Again, this is the worst time to jump on a new cellphone plan. It’s time to start waiting again for the next promo to come our way.
