Freedom Mobile Just Raised Prices on Its Best Wireless Plans by $20

Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile continues to tweak its wireless plans and after reducing data on its $35 plan earlier this week, it has now increased prices for its top-end plans.

Here are Freedom Mobile’s wireless prices after autopay and bring your own phone discounts, as of April 22, 2026:

As you can see, the $50/100GB and $60/250GB plans have increased in price by $20 each. But data has doubled on the $70 plan, while Roam Beyond data has increased by 20GB and 30GB respectively.

These higher prices will hit new customers seeking a global roaming plan with a bigger data bucket.

There’s now a $25 price jump from $45 to $70, so it seems Freedom Mobile really wants customers to pick the $45 plan as the sweet spot?

Again, now is not the time to buy a new cellphone plan. The best time is during the next promo or near the end of quarter, as carriers try to pump up wireless subscribers before earnings reports.
