Bell Hikes Wireless Prices: New Plans Get 2 Gbps Speeds and HD Video Upgrades

Smartphone on a wireless charger shows a Bell logo, with plants and tech gadgets on a wooden desk in the background.

Bell has made some changes to its wireless plan lineup on Thursday, and we’re seeing prices increase compared to earlier this month.

Here are the changes to Bell’s plans as of April 23, 2026:

  • $60/60GB (was $55/80GB)
  • $65/100GB (was $60; adds US) Canada-US
  • $80/175GB (was $65) Canada-US-Mexico
  • $95/250GB (was $85) Global (65 countries)

Now, the more important changes here are the Lite and Select plans at $60 and $65 per month now have HD video streaming instead of SD streaming. That’s a win for those that watch a lot of videos on the go.

Also, Bell is now advertising data speeds at “up to 2 Gbps” across the board. The entry Lite and Select plans used to have up to 1 Gbps speeds. This move looks to be made because Rogers did the same to its 5G plan lineup.

Not to be outdone, yesterday Telus added a “delivering 5G+ data at blazing fast speeds” line above its 5G plans yesterday, to point out their speeds are fast too.

It’s kind of cute of when the Big 3 match each other, isn’t it?
