Is Your iPhone 17 or iPhone Air Not Charging? Apple Just Released a Fix
Apple has released iOS 26.5.1, which fixes a charging issue for the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 series.
The update released on Monday comes in at 11.55 GB for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The release notes for iOS 26.5.1 explain, “This update addresses an issue for a small number of users that may prevent wired charging on iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models when the battery is nearly drained.”
You can update your iPhone Air or iPhone 17 series phone right now by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
Last week, Apple released 26.6 beta software updates for developers, so expect that to come next.
