Rogers vs Telus vs Bell vs Freedom: Best Cellphone Plans – July 2026
We’re into the thick of summer and that means it’s time to take a look at cellphone pricing from Rogers, Telus, Bell and Freedom Mobile in July, compared to June. Let’s get right into it shall we?
Rogers
- $65/60GB (was $60)
- $70/100GB (was $65) Canada-US-Mexico (24 months roaming only; was 12)
- $85 (was $80)/Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico-Caribbean (24 months roaming only)
- $100 (was $95)/Unlimited Global (27 countries); Priority network access; 5 year price guarantee
Rogers has increased prices across the board by $5, just like it did for its plans with Fido. The 100GB plan now has a 24 month roaming cap instead of 12.
Telus
- $60/60GB up to 250 Mbps
- $65/100GB
- $80 Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico
- $95 Unlimited Global (68 destinations)
- $95/Unlimited Canada
No changes yet compared to June. But Telus says its plans above end today, so expect new prices (likely hikes) tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated.
Bell
- $65/60GB
- $70 (was $65)/100GB Canada-US; SD streaming; 5GB/day roaming
- $85 (was $80)/Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico; HD streaming; 5GB/day roaming
- $100 (was $95)/Unlimited Global (65 destinations, 5GB roaming/day)
As for Bell, it has increased prices across the board by $5 per month as well.
Freedom Mobile (All plans include global roaming)
- $35/25GB + 1GB Roam Beyond (ends July 7)
- $40/75GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $45/100GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $50/175GB + 10GB Roam Beyond
- $60/250GB + 20GB Roam Beyond
No major changes from Freedom Mobile, other than the 25GB plan ending today, so that means some changes are coming tomorrow.
Again, we’re seeing the same playbook time and time again. Prices are up in the summer when people are out and about and not paying attention. But then when the back to school season returns, that’s when prices will drop again to spark some sales. If you need a new plan, it’s best to hold the line until Black Friday in November.
