Rogers vs Telus vs Bell vs Freedom: Best Cellphone Plans – June 2026
We’re officially into June so let’s once again take a look at wireless pricing from Rogers, Telus, Bell and Freedom Mobile, to see how it has change compared to May. Let’s just jump right into it…
Rogers
- $60/60GB
- $65/100GB Canada-US-Mexico (12 months roaming only)
- $80/Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico-Caribbean (24 months roaming only)
- $95/Unlimited Global (27 countries); Priority network access
Pricing and data has not changed for Rogers. But roaming is being limited to 12 and 24 months for the two mid-tier plans.
Telus
- $60/60GB up to 250 Mbps
- $65/100GB
- $80 Unlimited (was 175GB) Canada-US-Mexico
- $95 Unlimited (was 250GB) Global (68 destinations)
- $95/Unlimited Canada
Telus added new unlimited plans last month, but it also added a 5GB/day roaming cap on these plans.
Bell
- $65/100GB Canada-US; SD streaming
- $80/Unlimited Canada-US-Mexico; HD streaming
- $95/Unlimited Global (65 destinations, 5GB roaming/day)
As for Bell, it axed its entry $60/60GB plan and also added a 5GB/day roaming cap last month. As for streaming, it has reverted the $80 plan to now HD streaming, after downgrading it to SD streaming.
Freedom Mobile (All plans include global roaming)
- $35/25GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $40/75GB + 5GB Roam Beyond (new)
- $45/100GB + 5GB Roam Beyond
- $50/175GB + 10GB Roam Beyond
- $60/250GB + 20GB Roam Beyond
As for Freedom Mobile, it brought back a $40/75GB price point. This likely positions customers to pay $5 more for 100GB of data. Again, there are no roaming caps with Freedom Mobile but your data is limited to 5GB unless you’re paying $50/month or more.
Not a lot of changes heading into June, as it’s typically a slower month with people going on vacation and not really focused on finding a cellphone deal. Once July and August hits, we should start seeing back to school plans and deals creep up again.

The Telus Unlimited Global ($85/month with auto-pay discount) also includes a big change not mentioned: the Tethering allotment has doubled from 50GB to 100GB, making it very useful for those who use hotspot a lot. I just switched to it.
