Check Your Statement: Bell Mobility Hikes Wireless Rates $6/Month

Bell wireless customers are in for another price increase this fall, as the carrier continues its pattern of raising rates on existing wireless accounts.

Starting on some October 2026 billing dates, the price of affected monthly rate plans will jump by $6 per month.

The price adjustment was shared by a Bell customer on Reddit, who detailed their latest billing statement warning of the upcoming change. According to the user, multiple lines on different tier plans under the same family account were flagged for the same $6 monthly hike.

The notice on customer bills reads:

“Important update: Starting on your October 2026 Mobility bill date, the price of your monthly rate plan will increase by $6/month. You can access your Bell Mobility agreement or manage your account at any time by using the MyBell app or online at bell.ca/mybell. If you would like to add to, cancel without penalty or modify your plan in accordance with your agreement, please call 1-800-667-0123.”

This latest increase follows a wave of price adjustments from the national carrier throughout the year. Bell previously raised wireless prices for some customers by $6 per month in February 2026, alongside a separate $6 per month price hike on internet plans in March. A broader range of wireless accounts also saw price increases between $3 and $6 per month in July.

So what can you do if you want to avoid the price hike? You can switch to another carrier but right now the best cellphone deals aren’t here yet, as that happens during Black Friday.
