Apple has quietly updated its AppleCare+ protection plans, introducing price increases that specifically target Canadian Mac and iPad buyers.
The price changes first surfaced in the U.S. as first reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman last week. A closer look and Canadian customers are also facing these prices increases as well.
After AppleCare+ went up in pricing for Mac and iPad, Apple also increased pricing for Apple Music and Apple One plans later in the week.
It’s only a matter of time before other AppleCare+ plans also go up in price. Apple is making billions in profit but continues to nickel and dime customers. It’s crazy how free iCloud storage still remains at 5GB.

This is why you don’t support greedy companies. When customers turn away from products and services offered by companies, ultimately will wonder what’s happening and may think about ways to incentivize customers, eventually it’ll come to the pricing points.
