Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile has just launched some back to school promos, which include data bonuses and more.
Here are Freedom Mobile’s plans as of July 23, 2026:
There’s fine print you need to be aware of, as the $35 and $40 plans will only include a 25GB data bonus if you are activating a new line with a MyTab device or completing a hardware upgrade on eligible Total Freedom plans.
Also, there are 25GB to 50GB data amount increases. But the $60 plan now has 10GB less Roam Beyond data. To get 20GB of Roam Beyond data you need to jump on the new $70/250GB plan.
There are no expiry dates yet on these back to school plans, but expect them to possibly shift somewhat as we head into August and competitors make changes.
$45/month for 18 months (after digital discount): 175GB Canada-U.S.-Mexico data plus 10GB Roam Beyond data.
Details: Requires Digital Discount and includes a $5/month credit for 18 months. Available at select post-secondary institutions.
$30/month per line (100GB): Available when adding 3 or more new Bring Your Own Phone lines.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (128GB): $0/month on a $60/month plan (requires phone return in eligible condition).
Google Pixel 10 (128GB): $1/month with TradeUp on a $50/month plan.
Samsung Galaxy A17 5G: $0/month on a $50/month plan.
$25/month for 15GB: Valid for 6 months of Canada and U.S. data when bringing your existing number. Requires a 6-month upfront payment.
Free Starter TV: Get Starter TV free for 1 year when adding a new mobile line along with home internet.
1,000 Long-Distance Minutes: Get 1,000 international minutes per month for 24 months to 14 destinations on $35+/month plans (in-store activation or upgrade required).
Referral Bonus & Contest: Earn $25 in account credits per friend referred (up to $250/year). Each referral automatically enters you to win 1 of 5 Samsung Galaxy S26 phones (contest ends August 20, 2026).
