Ted Lasso Season 4 Premieres on Apple TV, Marking a Long-Awaited Return

Following a long three-year break, Ted Lasso returns with its Season 4 premiere on Apple TV. The first episode of the season is now available to stream.

The Jason Sudeikis-led series is making its grand return on Apple’s streaming service, starting today. Ted Lasso Season 4 opens with an aptly titled episode, ‘Home’. Two years after his departure from Richmond, Lasso receives a visit from boss Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) with an offer to coach Richmond’s women’s team.

Ted Lasso Season 4 sees the return of many core cast members, including Sudeikis and Waddingham. Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Jeremy Swift and Brendan Hunt also return. Hunt is also credited as an executive producer alongside Sudeikis. The series has been developed by Bill Lawrence alongside Sudeikis, Hunt, and Joe Kelly.

With a big focus on Richmond’s women’s team, a new array of stars and faces are introduced in Season 4. New cast members include Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern.

Ted Lasso has become one of the marquee productions for Apple TV since its original season premiered in 2020. Over the years, the series has amassed 61 Emmy nominations and 13 wins. The series has also had generous reviews and acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 1 and Season 2 amassed 92% and 98% ratings, respectively.

Ted Lasso Season 4 is rolling out with weekly episodes dropping each Wednesday. Across 10 episodes, fans can tune in until its finale on October 7th, 2026, on Apple TV.
