Pre-orders are now open for Google’s newest hardware lineup, featuring the Pixel 11 family, Pixel Watch 5, and the all-new Pixel Tag. Canadians will see a shift in entry pricing across the flagship smartphones, largely driven by the removal of the smaller 128 GB storage option and ongoing pressures on component costs.
The elimination of the 128 GB model is the biggest change. Last year’s Pixel 10 started at $1,099 CAD for 128 GB, while the Pixel 10 Pro started at $1,349 CAD for 128 GB. With Google dropping 128 GB across the entire lineup, the true entry price to own a Pixel 11 jumps by $150 CAD, making $1,249 CAD the absolute floor.
Comparing storage tiers shows a slight price bump on standard models and a larger leap for the XL. The 256 GB Pixel 11 moves to $1,249 CAD, up $20 CAD from last year’s $1,229 CAD price point. The Pixel 11 Pro sees a flat $20 CAD increase across all equivalent storage options.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL jumps by $170 CAD across every storage tier compared to its predecessor, with the 256 GB version moving from $1,629 CAD up to $1,799 CAD.
As for the Pixel 11 Fold, prices are up $100 across the board versus last year. Google acknowledged that an industry-wide RAM shortage (due to the AI frenzy) has put direct pressure on hardware production costs this year.

The Pixel Tag’s pricing directly matches Apple’s AirTag pricing in Canada, though buyers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on it, as it does not launch until November 11, 2026.
