Bell, Virgin Plus Confirm iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Orders Start September 12

iPhone 18 Pro

Bell and Virgin Plus are already promoting Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro ahead of pre-orders opening in Canada, with both carriers pointing customers to September 12.

Bell’s Apple page currently leads with the iPhone 18 Pro and says pre-orders start September 12 on Canada’s fastest 5G+ network. Dedicated iPhone 18 product pages aren’t live yet, however, with older iPhone 17 purchase links still showing in Bell’s device grid.

There’s also no iPhone Duo promotion on Bell’s homepage at the moment.

Bell continues to advertise its standard SmartPay financing with $0 down, 0% interest and payments spread over 24 months. That’s general financing language for eligible devices, though, and not yet a specific iPhone 18 Pro offer that customers can add to their cart.

Virgin Plus is taking a similar approach, promoting the new iPhone 18 Pro alongside its 5G plans and confirming the same September 12 pre-order date.

The carrier is advertising 5G plans starting from $40 or $45 per month depending on location. That’s a bring-your-own-phone plan price, not the monthly financing cost of an iPhone 18 Pro, so customers shouldn’t mistake the advertised amount for device pricing.

The rollout looks similar to what Bell and Virgin Plus did for the iPhone 17 launch last year, although this time there isn’t a third Air-style iPhone being promoted alongside the Pro.

Apple will open iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders in Canada at 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET on September 12. Bell and Virgin Plus haven’t posted an exact carrier pre-order time yet, but both have historically opened orders shortly after Apple.

The iPhone Duo follows later, with pre-orders beginning October 16.

Buying an iPhone 18 Pro directly through Bell or Virgin Plus will typically mean financing the device through programs such as SmartPay or Bring-It-Back, or paying the full carrier price up front. Carrier outright pricing has also traditionally been slightly higher than buying the same iPhone directly from Apple.
