Meta Launches Muse for Small Business in Canada

Canadian small businesses can now connect Meta’s Muse AI agent to social accounts and common business software, giving it access to more company data for completing everyday tasks.

Meta launched Muse for Small Business on Tuesday, expanding the personal AI agent it released on September 8 in Canada and the U.S. The new version adds small-business skills and connectors for tasks including reviewing performance, managing campaigns and finding customers.

Muse connects to Instagram professional account analytics, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts. It also supports Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom. Businesses can also build custom connectors for services that are not directly supported.

Through those connections, Muse can work with information from a company’s storefront, accounting records, customer data and brand accounts. Meta says the agent can analyse sales and marketing performance, draft campaigns, review expenses and flag messages that may require attention. The company says nothing is published, sent or spent without the user’s approval.

Muse has seen significant early adoption since its initial release. Reuters reported that the app recorded about 2.8 million downloads during its first two weeks, citing estimates from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower. It has also topped free-app charts in Canada and the U.S.

The small-business expansion follows Meta’s Enterprise Platform launch on Monday, extending the company’s AI tools further into workplace software. Muse remains free for most uses, while Meta also offers subscription plans for users who want additional features. The company says more business connectors and skills will be added in the coming months. It’s been incredible to see the flurry of partnerships Meta has revealed so far with Muse.

The announcement comes ahead of OpenAI’s DevDay set to kick off today at 10am PT, where it is expected to reveal its own AI agent competitor. Other rivals to Muse include SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot.
