Apple Store iOS App Begins to Offer Free Content
Ten days after the Apple Store app was updated, the rumoured free content is beginning to show up within the app. The company has begun to offer free iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore content to Apple Store app users, Flo’s Weblog reports (via MacRumors).

As you can see from the above screenshot, the game Color Zen is currently offered as a free download. As Flo’s Weblog points out, Apple encourages users to check back frequently. “Download Color Zen free today. And be sure to check back frequently to see what other games, apps, songs, or books are available.”
Although some suggested that the offers will pop up when a user walks into the store, it turns out the functionality works whether you are in a store or not: you just need to pull up a store inside the app’s store panel and choose the free content option.

cool, its a fun game
It’s $0.99
It didn’t work for me. The game shows up in the Apple Store app, clicking on it takes me to the App Store app with a redemption code already filled in. However the store says the code has already been redeemed.
