National Bank of Canada’s iPhone app has been updated this morning to finally add mobile cheque deposits, saving you a trip to the bank or ATM.
The feature is called Remote Deposit Cheque, allowing customers to “cash cheques wherever” they are. Other new features today will allow users to change banking packages, plus also download void cheques and print out a personalized registration form to handle direct deposit subscriptions.

National Bank is the sixth largest bank in Canada, based in Montreal. Back in June, they announced Apple Pay would be coming “very soon”, as negotiations were underway with Apple. In May, the financial institution’s iPhone app added Touch ID support.
