Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone Event

With a little more than three hours to go until the widely anticipated iPhone media event, which will kick off at 10:00 a.m. PST, the Apple Store is down for updates.

While we’ve heard and seen lots of leaks about the forthcoming iPhones expected today, it is a big day for the company, because for the first time ever we will likely see a dual iPhone launch: alongside the high-end iPhone product refresh, Apple is expected to introduce the lower-cost version handset, the iPhone 5C. The latter is said to be targeting the low- and mid-range of the market.
