iWork for iCloud Beta Now Available to All Users with Apple ID

iWork for iCloud

If you have accessed your iCloud account via Web recently, you may have found a surprise there: the complete iWork for iCloud software suite is now available to all users with a registered Apple ID. It isn’t the final version, though – it is just a beta, but it contains full access through your browser.

Right now, the beta version will allow users to create and save Pages, Numbers and Keynote documents in iCloud. The changes will automatically appear in the iWorks apps on your iDevices and Mac computer.

Apple is working to enhance its iWork apps, and according to its iWork for iCloud page, it plans to introduce features such as sending a link to a document, version history, chart editing, table editing in Pages and Keynote, presenter notes in Keynote, printing, and support for additional browsers.

iWork for iCloud beta works with Microsoft Office: you need only drag the Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files into the document manager, and then share them in iWork, Office, or PDF format through iCloud mail.

iWork for iCloud beta is optimized for Safari 6.0.3 or later, Chrome 27.0.1 or later, and Internet Explorer 9.0.8 or later.
