Bell has announced its Let’s Talk Day mental health fundraising initiative has set a new record. Canadians were able to donate 5 cents to the cause by sending a tweet, text message, phone call or Facebook share yesterday.

The finally tally resulted in 122,150,772 total social shares, for a new donation record of $6,107,538.60, beating last year’s total of $5.4 million. Since the initiative started in 2010 with Bell’s initial donation of $50 million, the addition of five annual Bell Let’s Talk Days means over $73 million has been donated to mental health.
