Bell Media’s streaming content service, CraveTV, is set to increase in price by 25 per cent, starting June 25, 2018.

The price will jump from $7.99 per month to $9.99 per month plus tax, but for existing customers, they can retain their current price if they agree to sign a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription extension.
Early birthday present from Bell. CraveTV pricing to increase to $9.99/month on June 25. For retention, Bell offers equivalent of current price to customers who will sign a contract (3 month, 6 month, or 12 month). Enough already!#CRTC

Last summer, Bell increased the price of CraveTV from $6 to $8 per month, a 33 per cent price jump. When CraveTV launched in the winter of 2014, it cost $4 per month.
CraveTV has Canadian rights to HBO content, while it also includes Showtime content and more for its 1.3 million subscribers in Canada.
Netflix starts at $8.99 per month in Canada (updated), so it’s slightly cheaper than CraveTV, but offers original content unavailable on CraveTV.
