#BellLetsTalk 2020: Retweet to Donate 5 Cents Towards Mental Health

Bell let s talk 2020

Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day, the annual fundraiser towards mental health initiatives from Bell. The company says for social interactions, the company will donate 5 cents towards mental health programs.

Earlier this morning, Bell said “We’ve surpassed 25 million texts, calls, tweets using #BellLetsTalk, views of our official Bell Let’s Talk day video on social media, and uses of our Bell Let’s Talk Facebook frame and Snapchat filter. Thank you to everyone for your outstanding efforts.”

Sending iMessages doesn’t count, so Bell is reminding iPhone users to disable iMessage (that may be a hard sell, however).

Here are the ways Canadians can participate today:

  • Each time you tweet and retweet using #BellLetsTalk or watch our official video, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • Each time you use the Bell Let’s Talk Facebook frame or watch our official video, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • Each time you watch our official video on Instagram, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • Each time you send a snap using the Bell Let’s Talk filter or watch our official video, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • Each time you watch our official video on YouTube, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • For every text message sent by a Bell Mobility* customer, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.
  • For every mobile and long distance* call made by a Bell, Bell Aliant or Bell MTS customer, Bell will donate 5¢ towards Canadian mental health initiatives.

Last year, Bell Let’s Talk raised $7.2 million through 145 million social interactions.
