Apple’s website has detailed which Canadian carriers will support the company’s latest iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, and to no surprise, Rogers, Telus and Bell will support the newest iPhone models.
Here’s the full list of 14 Canadian carriers as detailed on Apple’s website:
While Big 3 prepaid brands Chatr (Rogers), Public Mobile (Telus) and Lucky Mobile (Bell) aren’t listed, these companies should support the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, as they run on the same wireless networks of their parent companies.
A Telus spokesperson provided iPhone in Canada with the following statement regarding new iPhone and Apple Watch sales:
TELUS will offer Apple’s latest products starting on September 21, including iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, the most advanced iPhones ever, as well as iPhone Xr, bringing the latest iPhone innovations to more people, and Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular), redesigned and re-engineered to help users stay connected, be more active and manage their health in powerful new ways. Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max beginning September 14, iPhone Xr beginning October 19 at telus.com and TELUS stores.
As in previous years, your best bet to get one of the latest iPhones is to head over to Best Buy to place a deposit down to reserve a pre-order (we will confirm when Best Buy announces support for pre-orders).
No Canadian carrier pricing is available yet for iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max or iPhone Xr yet, but stay tuned as we’ll be sure to provide you with all the updates. Expect contract pricing to be close to what iPhone X was at launch, but probably a smidgeon higher.
