The company tells us customers can activate the phone on their $45/month March promo plan (it’s basically the $55/month plan with $10 off until April 1st):

  • 1000 daytime minutes
  • 150MB of data ($10/200MB overages)
  • Caller ID, Voicemail
  • 6PM evenings and weekends
  • Unlimited SMS/MMS

The Rogers website actually shows an even further discount on the 32GB model, now at $199 on a three year term, a savings of $80.

Just last week, Rogers, TELUS and Bell discounted the 32GB iPhone 5 to $229 and 64GB to $279 on three year terms. With all of these sales to get rid of stock, one could easily assume preparations are under way for the next iPhone 5S, rumoured to launch in August.

On a side note, if you bring your own unlocked phone to Rogers, you can save $5/month on postpaid talk/text plans or $10/month on talk/text/internet plans until the end of March.
