Rogers, Telus and Bell have launched Black Friday promos offering data bonuses for those signing up for two-year terms with a smartphone activation. The promotion looks to be available nationwide, and data bonuses vary by province (well, Quebec gets the best plans it seems).
Here’s what’s available in province like BC, Ontario, etc., when you are selecting your data option on the Telus website (which is a real pain to navigate by the way):
- $25 – 5GB (1GB + 4GB)
- $30 – 6GB (2GB + 4GB)
- $35 – 8GB (4GB + 4GB)
- $45 – 12GB (6GB + 6GB)
- $60 – 16GB (8GB + 8GB)
For Telus customers in Quebec, they get some decent prices on data with this bonus:
- $17 – 7GB (6GB + 1GB)
- $28 – 16GB (8GB + 8GB)
- $40 – 20GB (10GB + 10GB)
Earlier this morning, Telus flanker brand Koodo launched some new plans offering more data.
Rogers looks to have Telus and Bell beat when it comes to a nationwide calling plan with either 6GB or 8GB of data, as it’s $5 per month cheaper at $90 and $95 respectively.

If you’re an existing Rogers, Telus or Bell customer on contract, you should try calling in and switching over to these promo data plans. Let us know how it works out.
