Costco Now Sells Apple AirPods for $179.99

Apple released its second-generation AirPods with a new H1 process and always-on “Hey Siri”, plus a new wireless charging case, back in March, priced at $219.

If you don’t need the latest and greatest AirPods, go check out your local Costco, as they are now selling first-generation models for $179.99, saving you $40 compared to the second generation version.

We previously saw Best Buy clear out first-gen AirPods at $199.99, but at $179.99, it’s not a bad deal for the originals.

Buying your AirPods from Costco also provide a longer return period versus Apple or other resellers, as you get 90 days instead of 14 or 15 days. This longer no-questions-asked return policy may come in handy if you accidentally swallow an AirPod (and what happens afterwards if you know what I’m saying).

Before you drive out to Costco and smash a poutine and hot dog (and maybe a twist cone), call your local warehouse and inquire if AirPods are in stock—just ask if item number 2477637 is available.
