New MacBook Pros, iPad, and Mac Pro Rumoured to Arrive by Mid-November

French site MacGeneration has heard that the next-generation iPads, MacBook Pros, and redesigned Mac Pro will be available in stores by mid-November. The site has allegedly obtained information about each of these products, with the new iPads set for an October 30–31 release.

MacGeneration has a mixed track record of predicting Apple’s moves, with the latest and “greatest” being today’s supposed launch of the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2. Keeping this in mind, the rumour needs to be taken with a healthy pinch of salt.

You may recall that Apple traditionally launches iPhones and iPads on the Friday of the week following the initial presentation. This makes the October 30–31 release unlikely, unless Apple holds the rumoured special event next Tuesday.

The new MacBook Pros will reportedly have an enhanced battery thanks to Intel’s Haswell processors. Among potential features: faster PCI Express-based flash storage, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The French site has also heard that the new MacBook Pros will arrive on October 24 or 25.

Apple has already teased about the redesigned Mac Pro, which is expected to come this fall. The rumour mill has already suggested we will likely see it during the special event scheduled later next week. MacGeneration has heard that the Mac Pro will reach stores on November 15, two weeks before the Black Friday shopping season.
