BGR reports today on some dates involved with the release of iOS 5 to coincide with a rumoured October iPhone 5 launch. According to their sources iOS 5 Beta 8 will be released this Friday, with the GM seed to follow next week on the 23rd.
we have been told that even though Apple seeded iTunes 10.5 beta 8 last week, iOS 5 beta 8 won’t be released until this Friday. After beta 8, Apple will introduce a Gold Master build on or around September 23rd as has been rumored
Yesterday, reports mentioned Apple suppliers were to receive GM seeds also in the final week of September, adding further weight to an imminent October launch date. Canadian iPhone 5 rumours have previously pointed at an October 1st debut on Telus, and Rogers employees undergoing iPhone ‘pre-launch training’ as we first reported.
