iTunes 12 Days of Christmas to Start Dec. 26-Jan. 6 in Canada

Apple has launched its preview page for the iTunes 12 Days of Christmas promo in Canada, set to take place from December 26th to January 6th (last year’s event took place Dec.23-Jan.3).

Once again as predicted, Canadians will receive their free goodies via visiting websites within the Canada.com Network, instead of downloading them via an app like in the UK. You can see the preview page here on the National Post website. Make sure ad-blockers are turned off or else you won’t see the page load.

Leading up to the 12 Days of Christmas, Apple has offered up a free download already. The album Holiday Songs contains five classic Christmas songs done by famed musicians. Examples include O Little Town of Bethlehem by Frank Sinatra and the bonus track Silent Night done by Yo-Yo Ma.

Expect a variety of Christmas-theme downloads in the form of music, movies, TV shows, and books.

Thanks Nicholas!

Does it strike anyone else as odd that they do this here and in the UK but not in the US?
